Operation Gothic Serpent took place in which country?

Operation Gothic Serpent was conducted in Somalia, with key action in Mogadishu, during October 1993 as part of the UNOSOM II mission. The operation aimed to detain warlords and enforce a ceasefire, and it is best remembered for the Battle of Mogadishu, where U.S. forces fought intense urban combat after two Black Hawk helicopters were shot down. The other countries listed are neighbors in the region, but the event itself took place in Somalia, not Kenya, Ethiopia, or Djibouti.
